Literally classified. I have a request in to the FBI to change that and will write about it when and if I can.

Orry Main and Madeline in John Jakes' North and South Trilogy. Their story is tragic and beautiful.
Or... Jack and Aliena in Pillars of the Earth. A twelfth century woman who'd lost everything walks all the way across Europe to chase down the man she loved and bring him home. What's not to love?

Hi Teo, thanks for asking!
Actually, we didn't divide the book up by points of view: Andrea wrote some from both, and I wrote some from both. Honestly it's hard for me to tell now which parts and which ones she did, we really tried to make it as seamless as possible!

Honestly I don't think so. In the end I think the reasons for the financial crisis were pretty well established. But it certainty had that effect on some people's lives

I don't particularly set out to incorporate diversity. But I do write about the world I see around me, which includes people of color, disabled people, mental health issues, war, sexual orientation, gender ... all things that we live in our lives.
I do always try to put myself into the shoes of the characters I write about, whether they look like me or not. Sometimes I'm more successful at that than others, but I think it's essential to be empathetic if you're going to write compelling stories.

Hi Dawn! The answer to that question (and a lot of others) is answered in the Rachel's Peril trilogy, which picks up about nine months after the end of The Last Hour.

Hi Julie, I'm working on it, yes it will be a future book :)

Hmm... no. I started thinking about the spinoff a while after I finished The Last Hour, so all three full length novels in the Thompson Sisters were finished when I started on the trilogy.
I started with Book 2 (Just Remember to Breathe) not even realizing I had a series on my hands. But it developed from there because I loved the characters.

Probably. Right now there are seven books about the Thompson Sisters, and the story is effectively over with Girl of Vengeance. But I may do a novella or two along the way--in particular I'd like to explore Dylan and Alex's first meeting long before Just Remember to Breathe, and what happened with Carrie after Girl of Vengeance ends. (who is she marrying?)

Seems as if I've started on a new Thompson Sisters project.

Hi there! Most recent book--I write a lot about soldiers. I recently read an article profiling several women soldiers who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan and realized *that* was something I'd never written about.
