Mr. de Castell, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the first novel in the Greatcoats series, fantastic! I'm waiting on the second to get to me and when it does I'm sure I'll devour it as well. Finished the first in less than 24hrs. I would recommend Micheal J. Sullivan's books if you haven't read them. Thanks for the kind words! I'm always delighted to hear when someone discovers the Greatcoats and enjoys them. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Michael J. Sullivan's books and I hope to get to them at some point. I haven't been reading much fantasy the past couple of years because I spend so much time writing it that I find I need to look further afield. Next up on my fantasy reading list is John Gwynne's Malice which I'm told is a terrific series.
