How old where you when you started writing and what inspired you to start?

Thanks for the question. I've been writing since I was very young, even in elementary school. I started publishing articles for pet magazines in my 30's and published my short story, "Stitches in Time" in the Cat Crimes Through Time Anthology when I was 39. I also wrote a full length book then but never tried to sell it. I published my self-published novel, Cloudy Rainbow, at 48 in 2008 (giving away my age here if you can do the math). A Stone's Throw was published this past November by Limitless Publishing and am halfway done with the sequel. There are many writers who became famous in their later years, although many of them were also writing since they were young. It's never too late to start.
