Reading is always a prompt for me, especially poetry. I like the visualizations that the poet conjures. And walking through art galleries; again the images create ideas. I was at an antique fair last month and saw an old plate with a faded scene of a windmill and a house. "There's a witch inside that windmill," I thought. And here comes a short story.
