Honestly? Getting to live in my own head and call it “work.”
I get to build worlds and break rules because Christmas magic and AI aren’t gonna write themselves. Someone’s gotta make sure Santa stays optimized, elves get their tech upgrades, and that no one forgets Krampus deserved a second chance.
And the best part? Knowing that somewhere out there, a reader is laughing, questioning reality, or yelling at my characters like they’re real.
That’s when I know I’ve done my job. ☺️
