Hi Cornelia, I was just wondering, have you ever considered trying to turn Inkheart into a German movie? I myself am not German, but I am learning it at school and I love Germany. Could that ever be a possibility? I must say that I thoroughly love the Inkworld series and I've read it at least once every year for 6 years (I bought it when I was 10). I just think that would be really cool. Thank you!! Natalie

Cornelia Funke No Natalie, I had plenty of bad experiences lately with German And American movies:) so neither Inkworld nor MirrorWorld will be movies in the near future. Sorry!!

Hello, it's me again. I just wondered how and when you choose a title for your works. Like, when you're done, or some time earlier? It seems like a question with an obvious answer, but this brings me to my second question: do you already have a title for Reckless #4, or don't you know it yet? (I really CAN'T. I always liked the idea of Fenoglio the writer as a character in the book, and then how we go into his written world - I love Chapter 13 of Inkspell when we see his viewpoint of this. Were you at all inspired by any books that do a similar thing, such as a writer of the world the book is set in, like Melquíades in 100 Years Of Solitude or anything else similar to that?

Having read many of your books, I would like to ask you if you emphasize on character, plot or emotional development more as you write. Also, is there some metaphorical meaning that you intend to convey to your readers, or is it just my misconception? Finally, I would be very obliged if you could explain to me how you manage humour, for you rarely make use of slapstick comedy.
