Apparently, you're Mormon. While I am not, I did realize something interesting. Why are there so many fantastic Mormon authors? Sure, Stephenie Meyer is awful but just about all the others I can think of are amazing, yourself included. What is it about Mormonism that produces so much talent?

Jessica Day George The Mormon church strongly emphasizes education, for one thing. They encourage everyone to get the maximum amount of education that they can. The other thing is that we're taught all our lives that everyone has talents, and it's important to find out what your talents are and develop them. So there's lots of Mormons who are writers, musicians, actors, etc, because we believe that we should exercise the talents we're given!
