Miller's creepier and more annoying in the the show compared to the book. I really liked him in the book whereas I found him insufferable for most of the tv series. Holden's kinda a pain in the ass in both.

The book is more nuanced and better paced. All of the characters are more likable. But the show does get better in season 2 imo and is worth watching.(less)
