Lyre. It's a modern re-telling of the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice and is a follow up (although not a sequel) to Eros. I started it months ago to be honest and then, feeling frustrated with how it was going, I abandoned it for a while to concentrate on Bo Blackman. I'm back to it now and still finding it hard-going, but the characters are starting to become more real and the plot is shaping itself out. The hard part is going to being managing the ending - in the actual Greek myth, Eurydice dies and Orpheus is unable to rescue her from the Underworld. Whether that will be the fate of my Eurydice (a half Japanese, half English woman called Yuri) is yet to be decided...
