Trust yourself! Your finished product will not be the exact same product you outlined months before. You can spend hours trying to resolve an issue in your book three chapters ahead. Wait until you get there before obsessing over an unresolved problem. If you absolutely can't fix it then you'll have to go back and change things to make it work, but as yet that hasn't been my experience.
