How do you write your books?

Shannon Messenger Wow, that's a very broad question. I'm not even sure where to begin. So I'll just say that I figured out how to write by reading a lot and writing a lot. Practice is key. I pick my best guess for the right starting point and I just start telling the story. And then when I'm done with the book, I revise. A LOT. Writing is all about rewriting to make it better.

The last Keeper of the Lost Cities book is going to be released in 2015, and (hopefully!) The 3rd Let the Sky Fall book will come out soon-ish. Do you already have another story in mind you want to write? Also, after creating the premise and main plot of LTSF, did the world and it's politics just come to you? Or was it a gradual build up of creation?

So I'm just majorly fangirling about the fact that the cover was released, and all of its amazingness! Tam is on the cover so does that mean he's one of the important characters of the book? And if so, does Linh play a major role too? I really hope so because I looove these new characters in neverseen and now I'm shipping Dex and Linh because they would be so incredibly cute! Okay im done ranting now! ;)
