Thank you for reading my books! I'm glad you connected with them. I didn't realize I wanted to be a writer until I was older. I already had 4 kids and was 30 when I thought I would try my hand at writing. I've always loved to read and I came up with an idea and thought I'd try. It was a book that didn't end up getting published, I had some learning to do, but it helped me to know that I loved writing. So I kept going.

As I understand it, you publish books both through Scholastic & HarperTeen. I've noticed your books are published alternating from each publisher - as in one from Scholastic (P.S. I Like You) & then one from HarperTeen (The LLL) & now Listen to Your Heart from Scholastic. I recall reading somewhere that previous characters would appear in a future book through one of these publishers. Am I correct? Which one, & when?
