Does inspiration come easily or does one need to look for it? Approximately, how much time did it took for your stories to become published? When you find that you have a lack of inspiration, what are you most likely to do? Kasie West Thanks for the questions. I will attempt to answer them. :) Sometimes inspiration comes fast and easy. Sometimes my brain is just empty and I have to search for it. From the time I decided I wanted to write until I got published it was about 5 years. When I am lacking inspiration I step away from my computer or the story I'm working on and live my life. I go out. I watch movies, I read, I hang out with friends. I let myself relax and see the world around me and I find more often than not, ideas will come to me when I'm not thinking too hard about them. The decision to become a writer has been one of the best I've ever made. It's not always easy, but I love it. The advice I would give to a writer is don't compare your way of writing to anyone else, do what works for you. And read a lot. And practice writing a lot.
