MollyVanderson asked K.D. Dowdall:

Hi Karen. I know this isn't your typical question but I am struggling to understand The Outlander by Gil Adamson. It would mean a lot to me if you could help me see how Mary Boutlon's character develops throughout the novel. Do you find her a victim although she is a murderer?

K.D. Dowdall Hi Molly,

I am less than half way through Gil Adamson's novel, I am reading two other novels for reviews, but I plan to get back to her book soon. So far, to me Mary is a victim. The husband was cruel to her and I believe caused the death of her infant. The mystery of Mary is difficult to understand at this point in my read of the novel. I have a feeling I won't know for sure until the end of the novel.
