Joseph Delaney:
Hi Joseph, I'very noticed in all your books there isn't a clear distinction between "good" or "evil" people (particularly Mother Malkin). I was wondering whether this was on purpose, to show that people have both good and bad in them, or whether this was completely unintentional? (maybe I'm crazy enough to sympathize the baddies). Yes you are correct because I think there is good and evil in all of us and I want my books to reflect that. So there is no clear distinction between ‘good’ and ‘evil’ characters! For example Alice struggles to be good despite her powers that come from the dark and Tom must compromise with the dark in order to survive.

I’m just finishing on the spooks destiny. As I realised, the Spook mentions near the start that they were from the “County” to an Irishman. It’s a pointless question really, but it made me wonder. How does he know that he means Lancashire? I think this happens a few other times throughout the series. Is the name of any real county or English place ever mentioned?

I love the wardstone series aswell as the starblade series and have recently read your two new books brother wulf and wulfs bane. As she's my favourite character, I'd love if Alice had a bigger role to play in the upcoming wulf books and we really see her powerful magic as she's much older now and should've gotten stronger. Apart from that, I loved the two new books! What will the third and fourth books be about ?
