Which of your characters is closest to you personality wise in real life and in what ways?

Hi Amy--Wow. Good question. A lot of my characters are a part of me. Winona from True Colors, Kate from Firefly Lane, Jolene from Home Front. But none of them is really "me." Thanks!

First I want to say how moved I was by your book Night Road. Thank you for writing such a touching and thought provoking novel. That said would you ever continue the story? I wanted more of that family. You are the author and writer so you know best. It just felt like there could be more.

Hi Kristin, I was so impressed with the Women, not only as a female Veteran myself, but as a San Diego native born and raised over 40 years now! My family comes from a long line of Military service members, deployment/Vietnam included. Emotionally and logistically you captured EVERYTHING. Did you spend time in Coronado to write this? In Vietnam? With Vets? It was SO impressive! So accurate! Bravo! 10 Stars.
