Claire Legrand Currently there are no plans for a Winterspell sequel, but who knows? Given the right story and the right timing, I would love to return to that world and those characters.

As for your second question: Yes, I do plan to write both more standalones and, eventually, a series or two! But like I said, currently none of the books I have planned are in the Winterspell universe.

Hello Ms. Legrand, I recently read your books - The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls and Some Kind of Happiness - and I have a question about the former. At the very end of the novel, when Victoria is on the train, we're told that three people are on the estate again. Is that a flashback sequence that portrays how the home came to be or is that a reference to this whole thing being an inescapable, vicious cycle?
