I hear Starz is possibly making a series out of your masterpiece Blackbirds. Any idea who will be playing Miriam?

Chuck Wendig I have heard some delectable casting rumors, but they are, at present, only that -- rumors. I eagerly await casting decisions. Though, I'll admit a certain pensiveness, too. Miriam as a fictional character becomes somewhat indelibly printed on people's minds when an actress is assigned to her.

Still, really hoping for Wesley Snipes.

Posted front and center above my computer, amongst other Wendigan pearls of wisdom, is the "Finish Your Shit" commandment. Is it ever okay not to finish a story because it has become a big steaming pile of clusterjunk or because you've just lost the taste for it? Should you finish these stories anyway even though they have become creative black holes, consuming time and energy that might be better invested elsewhere?
