Would I kno…moreJoann, I picked up this book at my local library as it was a new release. I had NOT read the previous book, and did not find it necessary. Would I know more of the backstories? Sure ... but the author did a good job of filling in the blanks, so NO, you don't need to read the first book first.
However, I did enjoy this book well enough to perhaps go back and read if for myself sometime in the future. Enjoy!(less)
