The more I write, the less it happens. But, I have come to realize that there really is no shortage of ideas. They can come from other fiction novels where there might be a story within a story that has never been explored, or an old movie plot that can evolve into something new. Or, better yet, just real life - things happening in the news, reality TV, crime shows - anything can spur an idea which can be used to craft a plot.
