The Mercury Pack was formed during Carnal Secrets which is book #3 of the Phoenix Pack series. The book's main couple Shaya & Nick are the Alpha Pair of the Mercury Pack. So I would say at a minimum to read that one. In my opinion, that book should be book #1 in the Mercury Pack series as well as #3 of the Phoenix Pack. As mentioned in other answers, the characters from both series do overlap and probably will continue to do so I would think as many of them are personally interconnected to each other. I have seen publishers do this mid series to make it more tidy in their eyes, but in reality it is still all the same series to me. For the full experience, I would say read them all. It is a great series that I would highly recommend and if you are an Amazon Unlimited member, you can read and listen to them for free.

I would really try to read the Phoenix Pack series before this book. Probably 80% of characters, including the hero, are carried over. It's basically the next book in the series.

I recommend to read the phoenix pack first..as Kathleen said most of the charachters including the hero are from the phoenix pack series...also it's a really fun books to read ..I really enjoyed them
