MT92 asked Lucinda Riley:

First off I would like to say that I loved the second book "The storm sister"! I find it amazing how you come up with these stories that include famous people of that era/time (especially Norway and Grieg). I am wondering when choosing the country to where the story is set, how do you decide? Do you have a personal connection to all of them?

Lucinda Riley Thank you so much. You're only the second person I've heard from who's read it and so that means a lot.
Yes, you could say that. It's always the location that first inspires the story.
Having visited Norway many times over the last few years - which is so beautiful - and receiving a wonderful welcome, I knew that I would always want to set a book there, and this was my perfect opportunity.
Funnily enough, the third book which is about Star (and called 'The Shadow Sister' which I've nearly finished writing) is set in England, specifically the Lake District which is one of my favourite places in the UK.
