First off I would like to say that I loved the second book "The storm sister"! I find it amazing how you come up with these stories that include famous people of that era/time (especially Norway and Grieg). I am wondering when choosing the country to where the story is set, how do you decide? Do you have a personal connection to all of them?
Lucinda Riley
Thank you so much. You're only the second person I've heard from who's read it and so that means a lot.
Yes, you could say that. It's always the location that first inspires the story.
Having visited Norway many times over the last few years - which is so beautiful - and receiving a wonderful welcome, I knew that I would always want to set a book there, and this was my perfect opportunity.
Funnily enough, the third book which is about Star (and called 'The Shadow Sister' which I've nearly finished writing) is set in England, specifically the Lake District which is one of my favourite places in the UK.

Dear Lucinda, you are my favorite writer, I love your books ! I’ve just finished The Sun sister in Spanish ( I’m from Argentina ) and I can’t wait to read the seven sister story !!!! Could you please give us a little clue about the place where the story plays, please ? I’ve got a lot of theories about Pa Salt and I’m not very happy with his attitude because I’m sure that he is alive . Kisses, and, please,be safe !

Hello Lucinda, Its wonderful to be able to ask you a question! I am a young reader, but so in love with your books, my favorites are The Seven Sisters and The Orchid House! You are my favorite author, and I aspire to be as you one day. Will The Missing Sister be published in two books because of length? Love, from Norway (The same place as Ally!)
