Inspiration can be anything - from a video game to listening to music to having an interest in a particular subject.
Lately my inspiration is coming from listening to other people and the sorts of stories they are interested in.
But don't wait for inspiration. Try to get a habit - or set a goal. Even if you can't commit every day, if you can write 5k a week in 20 weeks that's a 100k novel. It doesn't have to be pretty.
