Louise
Louise asked Isaac Marion:

How do you try to separate your personal life from the life you have as published author? I mean, is there any kind of boundaries or no?

Isaac Marion I don't put my home address out on the internet, but beyond that there isn't much need for separation. It's not like I have mobs of fans chasing me down the street. It's not like I get recognized in public. Being an author isn't like that unless you're HUGE. I mean, Suzanne Collins is one of the biggest authors in the world and I don't know if I've ever seen her face.

So there's no need for separation in the security sense, if that's what you meant, but I suppose I do hold back a little on actively revealing my personal life. I'll freely post about my thoughts and activities if there's something funny or interesting about them but I don't talk about "real shit," at least not with any specifics. I like interacting with readers and inviting them into my experiences as much as I can, but I stop short of letting them believe they're "in my life." That's when things get weird.

Of course this only applies to a certain outer layer of interaction, mostly online. If I meet and get to know you in person, that's a whole different thing, human and real. I'm really looking forward to this book tour.
