Hi! I am Giulia, PhD at the University of Nottingham. I am doing a research on V. Woolf and on how people process information while reading. I need people who have read this novel to run a little questionnaire which will help understand readers behavior. Would you like to participate? If yes, please write to me, and I will send you my questionnaire as soon as it is ready. I would really appreciate!!

Hi, I read it in its entirety when I was a university student in about 1976 or 1977. It's my favourite novel in a big way. I think I have bought it three times in a paperback edition because previous versions get misplaced when I want to peek (I corrected "peak") into it again. I looked at it again tonight, so as to be able to quote the last paragraph, which I didn't end up doing because the occasion was unworthy, good as it is. I didn't think I would be understood well enough. But I then, shifting my attention, read (again) the last two pages and then the first page (again), and I'm going to reread it again now completely. On paper. I'd be fascinated to answer your questionnaire. But it says "3 years ago. 0 Answers". What's happened with the questionnaire? Where are you at with it now?

I just finished the audio book so I would love to help you out.

Yes all right. Her name is Virginia Woolf by the way. V. Woolf sounds to my ears like a name on a voting registry or school attendance sheet.
Roxy
I'll participate, if it isn't way way too late!

I could answer the questionnaire, but i have read the book in Greek translation and i don't know if that could effect in any way the results.

Greetings, Giulia;
Perfect timing, I am just in the process of ordering several of her works, so once I have them and read them I would be more than happy to take your survey. In fact, I have been working on a great deal of James Joyce's works and commentaries. In some cases, I prefer to read the commentaries before I actually go through the actual Joyce writings. I would prefer reading through the questions before I do the readings so if you want to email me with the material I will get back to you once my own project is done. Mailto:jawstarchuk93@hotmail.com
