Silly question, but how did you come up with the names for the Hot Bunch? You reference awesome rock music throughout the books and based on the music I became intrigued as to how the names were selected. A few of my assumptions are: Lee - David Lee Roth (Van Halen) Eddie - Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) Hank - Hank Williams (Sr or Jr) Darius Tucker - Darius Rucker (Hootie & The Blow Fish) Thanks!

I wish I put this much thought into it! HA! That would be awesome.
But no, in some cases, they're names I've always loved (Lee, Hank, Luke). In some cases, they named themselves when they hit my brain (Eddie, Hector, Mace, Ren) and in one case, my ex-husband named him when I said, "Give me a crazy dude's name that I can make hot." and he said, "Vance."
So it isn't that well-thought-out...but now I'm thinking I should name some characters after rock stars! :-)

Hi Kristen! I'm dying to know, can you tell me how you pronounce Circe from Golden Dynasty? (Sir-see, Kir-see, Kir-kee, etc.) It's my favourite of all of your books so far. I think I've read a little over half of them and have read Golden Dynasty 4 times! Not knowing if my brain is pronouncing it right is driving me nuts :) Thanks!

I'm going back and listening to the audible version of the Rock Chicks. Do you have someone specific in mind who was the inspiration for Luke's mustache? I can't picture it without it being a creepy type of fu manchu and need a visual since he's my favorite. In the meantime, I'm going to have to rely on imagining a real life Luke
