Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.S.J. Gregory Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer and Superman. I enjoyed the part where you got to experience Bella's powers first hand, and I wanted to experience more of that, and so the idea came to me to write my own story. But instead of vampires, I would have superheroes.
The other idea which helped shape it was, what if Superman wrote his own story, in his own words, detailing what it feels like to be shot at, or how it feels, when he couldn't save someone. That idea took root, but I couldn't use Superman, so Cosmic Girl was born.
