Goodreads asked S.D. Thames:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

S.D. Thames I make myself write. I find that writer's block, at least for myself, is usually caused by a lack of confidence in what I'm writing. When I feel stuck, I just keep going. I'll skip over the scene that I'm struggling with and start the next one or I'll work on something entirely different. I wrote the Vargas Deposition when I was struggling with revising the third act of Foreclosure. Having finished that story, I felt refreshed and had a better perspective on the novel.
