Is anyone else struggling to get through this book? In some parts, it's fascinating and I am pulled in, but in others I just want to read through it to get it done with. I'm not usually like this when it comes to books, and hoping it's not just me. I almost want to give up on it and find another book.

Then, of course, I had to know how the ending came about, so went back and tried to plow through some more. Got frustrated again and skipped about one-quarter of the book, found a good starting point leading toward the ending, and was fine with that. As someone else mentioned, the story was way too drawn out; it needed MUCH tighter editing. Even having skipped well over 100 pages, I didn't feel like I missed anything.(less)
