I don't think I do get inspired to write. Writing and drawing seem to be some kind of compulsion. It's a bit like living with a disability because it needs to be constantly accommodated. Ideas are always popping into the head and you need to stop what you are doing to jot them down. Most are unusable rubbish, but that doesn't stop them nagging you.
