Please tell me which Austen book I should read next and/or other classics similiar to it?

I also didn't like Jane Eyre (but then, I loved Wuthering Heights). I definitely recommend Edith Wharton's books to people who liked Jane Austen, particularly Age of Innocence. I suspect Charles Dickens might also be a good direction to go once you've exhausted Jane Austen's catalog--maybe start with some of his shorter works, like his Christmas novellas, and go from there.(less)
