In eighth grade I read Wuthering Heights. I loathed it. I never touched a classic again. Until I saw the movie "Pride and Prejudice" and became obsessed with Austen. However, I find Mansfield Park and Persuasion dull and more boring than the rest of her books. But they are still good. After you're finished her books, you should read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I find the writing style to be similar.(less)
