Can I ask, I am reading Lady Luck, (again!!) And I wondered why Tate tells Ty about his idea for Lexi to keep Ty 'busy' and out of trouble. He basically throws her under a bus. Why did he say anything?
Kristen Ashley
Ah, well, girl, don't think Tate sees it as throwing her under the bus but instead all of them doing what they can to keep Ty from doing something stupid that'll mess up his life even further. Tate assumes from the connection he feels between Ty and Lexie that turning his mind will TURN HIS MIND, for good and ever, and he'll give up his ideas of revenge to focus on the good life he has. Tate getting ticked way the heck off when Ty's pride gets the best of him and he blows it shows he had absolutely no idea Ty would react the way he did.
And I think we all know that Ty should never have reacted the way he did. The person in the wrong in that scenario was Ty. Straight up. Pride goeth before the fall but in that situation, the person who fell was Lexie. Yes, perhaps from what she knew she should have known better. But what she did was coming from a beautiful place in her heart.
It was an intense situation all around, boiling to the point it boiled over.
Luckily, it worked out in the end.

When you wrote motorcycle man did you have in mind the Hop/Lanie storyline, as you bring the Bee Bee incident up as a bone of contention in their book, I wondered if you had planned it that way?. I thought it was really clever to have that on the back burner to bite him in the ass all those years later.

You are by far my go to author & the yard stick to which I compare all books. I have read all of them at least 3 times thank you! My question is in Rock Chick Redemption Roxie knows Eddie does not like her. Hank explains that Eddie does not like high maintenance Is that really what drove it or did we just needed something to lead up to the Eddie & Roxie "moment" when he takes Roxie to press charges against Billy?
