(view spoiler)[You are by far my go to author & the yard stick to which I compare all books. I have read all of them at least 3 times thank you! My question is in Rock Chick Redemption Roxie knows Eddie does not like her. Hank explains that Eddie does not like high maintenance Is that really what drove it or did we just needed something to lead up to the Eddie & Roxie "moment" when he takes Roxie to press charges against Billy? It isn't forced, if that's what you're asking. As you can tell with Eddie and the woman he fell in love with (Jet), he's into something else. He likes his woman like the woman he fell in love with. Jet doesn't like a lot of attention or drama, doesn't put herself out there, isn't about designer gear, etc. Jet's quiet and shy.
Roxie is none of that.
So she's not really Eddie's gig and he's wary of her. By this time the Hot Bunch are experiencing some serious shizzle with their Rock Chicks and Eddie's already closing ranks. He reads Roxie is bringing trouble with her. So he's not sure.
But he gets sure...and then it's all good! :-)

Hi. Can I ask you something? So I'm reading Sweet Dreams, and Lauren says she thought "something special was going to happen to her. Something beautiful, spectacular, huge". And I thought, so do I! But obviously she believes she's been disillusioned with life. Is it true? Do you share in Lauren's belief that nothing lifechanging ever happens?
