Hello, L.O. Several of my friends have trouble with confidence (I sometimes do too) in general. So I thought I'd ask a few writers this very straight forward, but open question... What shakes your confidence? In the realm of writing, or otherwise. What tends to foster it? Thanks.

Lauren Oliver Honestly? My confidence gets rattled when I spend too much time online, paying attention to what other people are doing, what accolades they've received, what successes they're enjoying that feel out of reach to me. My confidence is fed by keeping the company of good, true friends, and by focusing on all the reasons I have to be thankful.
