Purple porpentine
Purple porpentine asked Jonathan Stroud:

What is George's favourite type of doughnut?

Jonathan Stroud Ooh, he likes all flavours. Probably, if pushed, he'd go for the classic English kind - i.e. covered in sugar, with a hidden glop of jam at its heart.

More Answered Questions

Astrid Lim
Astrid Lim asked Jonathan Stroud:

Hi! I have read the Lockwood books and somehow, the Whispering Skull reminds me of the witty Bartimaeus.. Is this on purpose? Or it's just my feeling? And will I meet the Skull again in the future? (i hope so!) can't wait for the next Lockwood adventures, thanks for keep writing great stories :)

Jessica
Jessica asked Jonathan Stroud:

Did the Orpheus Society have anything to do with Lockwood's parents death?

A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked Jonathan Stroud:

As an author and presumably someone who spends a lot of time alone, how do you know so much about office politics, ambition in a traditional career, and power games? Your characterizations in both the Bartimeus and Lockwood books and your analysis of people's behavior are so true to life.
