What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Polly Holyoke Write the kind of book YOU like to read. You can’t fake it in this biz. When vampire books were selling so well, I wasn’t the least bit tempted to write one. That whole premise has never appealed to me, and therefore I knew I couldn’t a good vampire book. Write the kind of book that keeps you up late at night turning pages. That’s the sort of story you are much more apt to sell!
