Jack Gantos I was fortunate. I was born in Norvelt and lived there long enough to know the characters and hear their stories and understand their community values. I still know people in Norvelt.
There is another book: FROM NORVELT TO NOWHERE. That would be a good follow up read after the first volume. jg
