Goodreads asked Alec Peche:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Alec Peche I have ideas for lots of books. I am a pantser writer meaning I start with an opening and write from there. This can be a difficult way to write as I often don't know where the story is going more than about four paragraphs ahead of where I am at the moment. Sometimes I can't write because I don't know where the story is going next, but give me 24 hours and I'll figure out a direction.
