If Nic and Jaron were to meet do you think they would work well together? Why or why not?

Jennifer A. Nielsen Fun question, Emily! I actually think Nic and Jaron would get along well (and with Jaron, that's saying a lot!). Nic would acknowledge Jaron's royalty and let him take the lead, and Jaron would respect Nic's magic, especially as he figures out how to use it to his advantage. They'd make an interesting team.

If they ever did disagree, however, watch out!
