Jerry Rose
Jerry Rose asked:

Is this a "clean" book? I recognize we all have different tastes and I'm fine with that and not trying to "judge" anyone. But for me, I prefer to avoid reading: - large amounts of foul language - graphic violence - sex scenes or strong sexual innuendo. For reference, Brandon Sanderson's books are at about the right level for me in terms of "cleanliness". I'd really appreciate anyone giving me a quick rating. Thanks!

Lynn I don't see any reason why we should apologise for wanting decency and morality in our reading material! We have as much right right to our individual preferences as everyone else.

We certainly don't hear any apologies from anyone for touting 'Shades of Grey' and other not-so-soft porn material.

I realise my answer is 3 years after the original question was asked, but this response is for me and for all those who have yet to discover this author.
Aaron Nelson If it helps, Dave Wolverton, the author, (Farland is a pseudonym) is just as Mormon as Sanderson. So yes, it's a very clean series. Another good clean series is Dragoncrown War by Michael Stackpole.
Adam This is why we need ratings on books. Rated SJW for cleanliness
Josh Cole Very clean (as opposed to Martin's GoTs), and it's High fantasy, with a very creative magic system.
