Kayla Martin
Kayla Martin asked Miranda Kenneally:

Are your books clean? How much language, sexual content, violence etc.?

Miranda Kenneally Hi Kayla - Great question! I would say my books are realistic. I believe in portraying "sex positive" relationships in books. By this I mean I show girls deciding whether or not they want to have sex. And if they do, they use protection and it is completely consensual with the guy. If my characters don't want to have sex with a guy, they don't do it, and that is totally okay. Young women must feel empowered to know they control their own decisions and their bodies, so I will never be anything less than realistic when writing my books. If this means that people won't read my books because they aren't completely clean, I'm okay with that -- everyone is allowed to make their own decisions about what they are and aren't comfortable with.

Finally, my books have no violence, but there is some language.

Best,
Miranda
