I'd read in a review that it had an amazing twist and I do love a great twist, not being a fan of the author previously, I thought I should give it a go. I even made sure I was alone and undisturbed for the last quarter of the book so as not to be disturbed to the twist of the end of the plot line. Only, there wasn't one. I agree it's a page-turner in the sense that people kept turning the page to see what happened. It was nothing. Ellen went on to have a great life with Patrick and family, Saskia moved on in her life. No great twist. (less)
