Hello! I just finished In The Middle of Somewhere and I absolutely fell in love with Rex and Daniel! I was so happy to read this will be a series. I am looking forward to the next book. Thanks for creating such wonderful characters. Any hints about book #2 or when it might come out?

Thanks, Becky! So thrilled to hear you loved Rex and Daniel! Well, book two will be out late this winter and though R&D aren't the main characters they certainly have screen time. I promise I'll make announcements soon!

No question really? Your books hit me last year like a mac truck, and I've read them all multiple times. I just love your work - your characters are so complex and work so hard to be uniquely themselves, whatever it means for them. I see pieces of myself in all of them, in ways I didn't expect. Hi I own and have read every book in the Middle Of Somewhere series and Small Change. I loved them all but my favorites will always be Daniel & Rex and Ginger & Christopher. I just finished reading In The Middle Of Somewhere for the 3rd time I think. Anyway I made a quiz about the book when I was done. So my question is will you take the quiz? Silly I know cause you wrote it but it would be cool.
