Heeeey! I just finished “forgiven” by Garrett Leigh, and in the “what to read next” section was a book called “our level best” by you! And, O can’t find it anywhere! Is it available or am I having peyote flashbacks?

I just finished the 3 books in the 'Middle' series. I am so impressed with the cultural and current references you thread through the plot. I've expanded my list of places to see in NYC. The characters have so much depth...no much pain...and experience so much growth these books should be classics too. Will you be adding anymore to the series?
Roan Parrish i'm so thrilled to hear it, diane, thank you! i don't have any plans to write more in the series now (although you never know!). but you should check out SMALL CHANGE and INVITATION TO THE BLUES—they are spinoffs, and feature cameos from many of the characters in the MIDDLE series :)

Because I adore "In the Middle of Somewhere" trilogy, I read Dan's favorite book - "The Secret History". Absolutely loved it! Can I ask what would Leo's or Colin's favorite books are? I love those characters so much, I will probably read the books too!^^

colin is not much of a reader, but when he reads, he likes classic horror—stephen king, richard matheson, etc.

since leo is reading so much for school, his favorite book changes every time he reads a new one. currently, he's pretty fond of THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE. :)

No question really? Your books hit me last year like a mac truck, and I've read them all multiple times. I just love your work - your characters are so complex and work so hard to be uniquely themselves, whatever it means for them. I see pieces of myself in all of them, in ways I didn't expect. Thank you so much for so much beauty and love (also, <3 Jewish <3 Main <3 Characters <3). You're truly my favorite author.

Absolutely love your writing!! I found Rend first and now I'm totally hooked on your books! Will Raze be the last book in the Riven series? I would love to see a book about Grin, Matty's best friend. Something about him captured my interest. Does he have issues with touch or is he struggling with his sexual identity? Don't worry about answering these questions here...maybe in book 4 :-) Best wishes to you!

thank you so much! i'm so happy to hear that :) as things stand now, RAZE will be the last book in the RIVEN series—it just feels right to have the mystery of huey's story be the summation of that series and move on to other things.

BUT, i think of the universe of all my books as being one world, so you'll no doubt see characters from the RIVEN series appearing in future books if you read carefully :)

i promise that i WILL finish MIDNIGHT FED! i began it as an experiment to write a short little serial, and then it kinda got ... big. so now i'm going to think about it for a while to see what happens next, and i'll make all the announcements when it's back on :)

I just wanted to say, first of all, that I'm not usually one to go out and read every book by an author, but that's exactly what I've done with all yours. I was stoked to see Rend on netgalley and I just powered through it in one night- so, so wonderful. I love how you never cut corners with the characters' emotional development. ANYwho, on to my question: any chance there'll be any other installments ofMidnig Fed? :)

I just came across your Middle of Somewhere series and I can't put it down. I was crushed when I realized the narrator changed from Book 1 to 2-3. Don't worry, the new voice grew on me. You write some amazing romances! Big fan. Do you have a hand in the decision/ choice of narration for your novels?

Hi I own and have read every book in the Middle Of Somewhere series and Small Change. I loved them all but my favorites will always be Daniel & Rex and Ginger & Christopher. I just finished reading In The Middle Of Somewhere for the 3rd time I think. Anyway I made a quiz about the book when I was done. So my question is will you take the quiz? Silly I know cause you wrote it but it would be cool.

Hi I just finished the Middle of Somewhere series and I'm missing all the characters already. I want more, more, more. I want to know how Rex is handling living in Philly. I want to know how Daniel and Colin are doing. Are there babies in the works for any of them? I just want more. Please, I'm not ashamed to beg. Thank you.

Hi Roan, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Middle of Somewhere series; I've read the first two books. Will we ever get a book about DeShawn and Anders? I don't even read YA but I fell in love with them in Book 2. A short story maybe?

Hi, Roan. I just wanted to let you know I love your Middle of Somewhere series and just finished reading your Valentines short story. You probably get this a lot, but do you plan to write more for Colin? I think he's a lovely complex character who obviously still has a lot of issues in his life, and I wish I could see him work through them. And, of course, he and Rafe are totally hot :)

No question - just a comment. I'm up to the third book in the Middle of Somewhere series and I am loving the books. I am glad I didn't discover them until they were all released! :) Is this a trilogy only or do you plan to write more as an ongoing series?

Thanks so much—I'm thrilled you're loving the books! I don't have more books in the series planned at the moment, though I certainly might in the future. SMALL CHANGE, which came out the other day, is the story of Ginger (Daniel's bestie in IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMEWHERE), so that's a kind of spin-off series, and Daniel and Rex do have cameos in that book.

Hi! I've just finished reading Out of Nowhere, which I loved, and am about to start Where We Left Off, but I was wondering if you had any plans for a book on Mikal and Philip? Not sure there's something there, I might have imagined things, but it'd be nice... I love Mikal's personality and Philip, though we only see him for a few lines, seems interesting and I'd love to hear more about those two. Thank you.
