Hi Gigi,
my very first book I wrote without preparing or doing research. I just started writing and I remember that in the middle of it I was quite lost. I finished and published it but I rewrote it a few years later, with better writing skills, and turned it into Dragonrider:)

Hi Cornelia, I'm a big fan of 'The Thief Lord' and the 'Inkheart' series - I am so excited to hear of a fourth book being released soon! I particularly love your descriptions of nature and insights into each of your characters. I was wondering whether you know that you'll be turning it into a series when you begin to write about a new idea, and if so, do you plan out what will happen in each book from the very start?

May I just say that it is an honor to be writing to you. I've been a fan since I picked up Inkheart back in the seventh grade. Your books are literally magic spun by gold. I was looking through my copy of Inkheart and on page 143, where Mo was talking about the little glass man appearing and the mailman disappearing, and that got me thinking. I know the mailman is not important, but whatever happened to him?
