May I just say that it is an honor to be writing to you. I've been a fan since I picked up Inkheart back in the seventh grade. Your books are literally magic spun by gold. I was looking through my copy of Inkheart and on page 143, where Mo was talking about the little glass man appearing and the mailman disappearing, and that got me thinking. I know the mailman is not important, but whatever happened to him?

I think the mailman IS important. And I think he lived very happily in Inkworld. As far as I know he became a courier of a prince and delivered his mail by horse.

are you planning on writing another volume of the Inkworld trilogy? Not many books get up on the top of my favorites list along with Tolkien, Rowling, and Goldman, but they have put a spell on me... I finished the series for the first time months ago and I still have dreams of Dustfinger playing with fire. :) But I still have so many questions: what happens to Fraid? Fengolio still writing after what his words did?
