Dean Murray:
Hi I have just started reading broken the first book in the reflection series could you tell me if the dark reflection series is a prequel to reflection as I read bound first at it confused m ed a little?
Dean Murray
Hi, Mike.
Chronologically, I wrote Broken, Torn and a bunch of the Reflections books first, and then went back and wrote Bound. The Dark Reflections books are an alternate timeline exploring a 'what if' version of how the characters' lives could have gone if one major piece of their world was changed, which then spawned a host of subsequent changes that propagated forward in time.
I have a much better description of the differences (and reasons I wrote the Dark Reflections series) in the new mailing list emails that I've been rolling out. (You could sign up so that you can see the new emails here: http://deanwrites.com/get-your-copy-o...)
If I haven't answered your full question please let me know and I'll take another stab at it!

Hi Dean, I got into your Reflections series after buying books 1-7 when they were on offer on Amazon. I was gripped from the first chapter of book 1, to the extent that as soon as I finished the 7, I immediately bought the next and when I finished that, the next and so on. I've just finished Marked, and I'm chomping at the bit for the next one! Any hint as to when it can be expected? Julie Dent

Dear Dean, I would have commented on my last one but it is being complicated. I greatly appreciate your tips. It is going to help me out a lot once I start back up on my writing. But I do have some stories and poems I have written and was wondering if you could take a look at one of them? It could help me make it better. Sincerely, Kyndra Parker

Hello Dean. I wanted to ask you one important question I've been meaning to ask you. Do we get to find out what happened to Lucy after she was visited by Imastious? (I thought he might turn her out of spite). And does Geoffrey finally remember who Lucy is and what she means to him. I was heartbroken when I saw the ending to A Darkness Mirrored. Cliffhanger and a half! Zahra.
