What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Brenda Segedin Just write for the pleasure of it. Then when you feel ready, complete a course to learn all that is involved in writing and publishing. Getting books published in New Zealand by a publishing company is pretty much impossible so do it yourself, but do it professionally. By that I mean look for a company who will help with the editing, layout and production. Be prepared to do the hard work of promoting your own book. This is where you really need passion for what you've written and produced, plus trust in yourself.
