How do you get inspired to write?

Brenda Segedin I've always known that I could write, but five years ago when our daughter left home for university, I found myself completely lost. Browsing around the internet I came across NZIBS (New Zealand Institute of Business Studies) and enrolled in their creative writing course by correspondence. It was great. I could complete the assignments around work and family. I learnt so much about writing and publishing and it tweaked my interest in writing poetry. It gave me a lot of confidence in writing and sharing my stories, be it short stories for competitions and completing this book.
